Walter Scott Morrison

Walter Morrison was born on 30 October 1895 and attended the School between April 1909 and December 1912.

On 7 July 1916, Walter was appointed 2nd Lieutenant for duty with the Royal Flying Corps from No 6. Officer Cadet Battalion.

Walter was killed in action on 18 March 1917, aged 21 and is buried in Ann’s Hill, Gosport and his name is recorded on the Grammar School’s War Honours Board  —  alongside the names of all of the Grammar School’s alumni to die in the First and Second World Wars.
