This photo has very kindly been donated to the Archives by Judith Maughan. Her father, Miles, came to the School in 1919, aged 13, and left in 1924.

This photograph was taken in 1962 by Mr W N Thompson, teacher at the School, and appeared in ‘Yorkshire Life’.
This photograph shows an art class taking place in what was then Room 13. In the background is a mural painted by one of the students.
Students featured include Paul Dering, Mike Hansen, Jamie Bramley, Mike Hansen, Alan Boocock and Mark Baty.

A lovely photo of an unnamed schoolboy. We believe this photo was taken in the 1960s.
This photograph was taken in the late 1960s, and features 'Moggy' Morrel, Alan Rowe, and an unknown student. The boys stand around the sixteenth-century chest, believed to have belonged to Robert Purslgove.

This photo was taken in the late 1960s
Alan donned the kilt as a light-hearted protest that the new admission of girls were allowed to wear trousers, but boys were not permitted to wear skirts.
