Using the archive
We at Prior are very keen for people to use our archive, and we have a dedicated study space for that purpose.
If you would like to study our archive first hand, you must let us know in advance. As Prior is a working sixth form college, we cannot accommodate visitors unless they have booked an appointment.
To book, please email email@example.com or call 01287 280 800 and ask to be put through to the Resource Centre.
You will need to tell us what material you would like to consult, so we can get it ready for you. Please take a look at our catalogue. We will need to know the location number (beginning with Z), and the title of the item or items.
When you come to the college, please go to Reception and sign in; a member of staff will meet you there.
If you have a research project that will necessitate prolonged or multiple visits, you may need a Criminal Records Bureau check. There will be no cost to yourself, and we will provide the application form.
